New Name

OK. Calling all creative and non-creative people that happen upon my blog! I am shopping for a new name for this thing that at the moment I call Nicole's blog. What was I thinking? I really wasn't. That's the truth.

When I began this blog adventure, I was just trying to see what it was like to be in the "in" blogging crowd. Just trying to fit in, is that so wrong? :) It seemed like everyone at my Mother's Day Out was ALWAYS talking about blogging and I was the only one that didn't even have a computer. So when I got one, I thought, "OK, now I can be a blogger too!!" So I signed up last month not really thinking that it would be a creative outlet, and now here I am addicted. So, back to the point (I promise there is one).....I need a new and creative name for my blog. I would LOVE everyone that has ever even read this to give an idea. Even if you think that it is cheesy. Come on people! Work with me here.

*******I do have to say that I am not a HUGE fan of the Mommy blog names - for ME!!! All the really cute ones are already taken, and I want something so unique and different. It could be a play on my name or just about anything!!!

Here are a few that I have thought of and you can either vote for one of these or come up with something original.

*Camogirl or something along those lines- I love camoflauge

*Sassafrass - I like to say that!

* Nickel and Dime (both nicknames) - this along with Camogirl is taken, so again something along these lines.

OK! Let the ideas roll!

Oh I love to make up names...let's see:

"Nic-at-night"! (if you blog @ night :)
Do you live in the Dallas area? I was trying to get my friend who lives near Uptown to be
"Uptown Girl" Love that!

Since you love sunglasses..."Specs & Shades"

I know..."Fly Girl"

"All that Sassafrass"

"Holy Camoflauge"

"Nickleback" :)

My friend Nicole's nickname is Coco - if you ever go by that you could be "Down-low with Coco"

Okay, I'm fresh out of ideas...I'll stop by if I think of more :)

I am loving this. Keep them coming. Ya'll ARE creative.

The only thing about Coco is I think of George Costanza and the nickname episode on Seinfeld where he wants that to be his nickname at work. And he drives me crazy. If their is a character that gets on my nerves, it's George Costanza. Glen loves Seinfeld.

You could be "Strade to the Point".

I also like Teresa's suggestion of "All That Sassafrass".

My friend used to say the word "Sass-Face" all the time and I think it is a totally cute word! Saying 'sassafrass' reminds me of that.

Hey Nicole,
I love the "Strade to the Point" name, however, it does not describe you so much. How 'bout "Blonde Moments with Nicole". When Cheryl first saw your blog, she did not know your last name, and thought you had named your blog "Nicole's Trader". Kinda cute:-) Happy naming. Love ya, Reese

I like Sassafrass. Has a ring to it!

The one I almost went with was "A Slice of Motherhood" but then opted against it. It sounded a little too wholesome or something, but I still kinda like it.

Can't wait to hear what you choose!

Cherise M? What are you doing? I love it that you are coming to my blog. Daddy said that he thought you might be. I clicked on your name and it said that you didn't have a blog. I guess you just read them and comment? I know a few people that do it like that.

You know what is funny is there is another blogger that had my site in her blogroll, and it said Nicole's Trader for a while. Then she changed it last week. Isn't that funny?

I just want it to be different. Who knows. There are some really cute suggestions!

You are all so creative...me? Not so much. I LOVE Theresa's "All that Sassafrass". It is so fun and doesn't sound at all "mom".

I am loving the All That Sassafrass or something along those lines. Here's what I've come up with at the moment (including some mom ones in there just because that's what came to mind!):

Sassafrass: A little bit sass, a little bit frass

Hot Mom in Camouflauge

Mama Chameleon
