Top 5 Favorite Movies

Did anyone see Gladiator on TV the other night? Let me just tell you that I LOVE that movie!! I know that some people might find it strange that I like such a graphic and violent movie, but I really do. I actually have it on DVD, but sat there for the commercials and all just to watch it on TV. Guess that tells you how lazy I am. So much so that I wouldn't walk down the stairs, open the entertainment center doors, grab the Gladiator case, walk back upstairs and put it in the DVD machine. I could have watched it with NO commercials, cut the running time down dramatically right? Did I get up? Nope!!,LAZY I tell you!

Glen and I watched it together which if you read my last post, you already know that that is one of my FAVORITE things to do. So we sat there, me quoting parts of the movie, Glen laughing at me, both of us enjoying one of my favorite movies of all time. Now Glen and I have our top 5 favorite movies and for some reason talk about them every now and then. He likes some REALLY cheesy movies. You know, Caddyshack! Are you kidding me? How can that be one of his favorite movies? To each their own, right?

So I thought that it would be fun to ask everyone their top 5 favorite movies. They do NOT have to be in any order. I am just curious to see how alike/different we all are in our movie choices.

Here are my top 5 favorite movies of all time:
  • The Patriot
  • Braveheart
  • Gladiator
  • Les Miserables
  • Dances With Wolves (this is the one that I change every now and again, just for fun)

I am not into those time periods you like for movies... those days were so brutal and sad for me to watch acted out. I like mainly comedies & romantic chick flicks... like Hitch, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Chocolat, 50 First Dates, Shallow Hal, etc. A "happily ever after" feel-good flick just makes my day!

I do love period movies, but more like Sense & Sensibility, Emma, Little Women, Pride & Prejudice (the A&E mini-series!)

I like so many movies- it's hard to choose just 5! But, often I'll see a movie and then not care to watch it again. SO having said that, I can watch these movies more than once:

-About A Boy
-The Village
-Fried Green Tomatoes
-Napoleon Dynomite!!
-and I can say pretty much every single word to Ferris Bueller's Day Off

I did notice that miss Annie! Is that even legal? They are my favorite "kind" of movie, but none make my list favorites. I don't know. I will have to ponder that one.

Hahaha i love quoting along to Gladiator! ''On my command, Unleash hell!''

Iv got a quite diverse taste, from disney to horror, but if pushed, id say

1. Rocky Horror Picture Show (Go Tim Curry!)
2. Love Actually (bit of a weepie, plus the line ''I am Colin, God of Sex''and Bill Nighy's performance)
3. XXX - Vin Diesel, Samuel L Jackson, Rammstein, Fab soundtrack and explosions!
4. Blade - Swooshing vampire vibe
5. Finding Nemo - People have said im similar to Dory. Which is a worry!!

Gah, i need more! Chicago, Pirates of the caribbean, monsters inc and ghostbusters two! Shh, i didnt sneak them in, honest!
